Re: comments early multi 10/20
Calling the all-in was correct.
I think in the CO position though, I raise 99 here. You have to make both of those marginal hands pay to play with you. Although at this point of an tourney, it might not have mattered anyway. |

Re: comments early multi 10/20
Looks fine.. I like the flop raise with the drawy board. Also this early in the tourney I just call preflop to try to hit a favorable flop.
I would go broke here 100% of the time. |

Re: comments early multi 10/20
Note: I don't know if it matters or not, but I actually reraised all in, I had both stacks covered.
Is there a case for just calling the SB's check-reraise? I put the EP on a J, and when the SB check-reraised me I did think he could have the straight. |

Re: comments early multi 10/20

Re: comments early multi 10/20
I disagree with the other posters, once you raise, get 2 callers and then a re-raise all-in and a few callers...i'm not so sure my set is holding up on a coordinated board.

Re: comments early multi 10/20
Your right it's not holding up at this point...but you have 7 outs on the turn and 10 outs on the river and your getting proper odds.
Yes. I may raise 99 in this late of position. |

[ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ] Well, EP bet out for 60. I raised to 275. Caller, then the SB reraises to 600. He didn't push, he was the shortest with about 350 left. EP called. Like I said I put EP on a draw. After SB check-raised my reraise I thought he probably had the baby straight, but wasn't completely sure. He could have a strong draw. The fact that he didn't push was fishy to me, as if he wanted me to call. I didn't really contemplate folding, but how else would you have played it? [ QUOTE ] Your right it's not holding up at this point...but you have 7 outs on the turn and 10 outs on the river and your getting proper odds. Yes. I may raise 99 in this late of position. [/ QUOTE ] Raise ok.. but would you reraise a small raise from EP (shorter than you). If so how much. |
