11.5g Dice Chips OR 10g Dice Composites
I am looking for a cheap set of chips for a monthly home game. I like the looks of the 11.5 chips (edge spots), but don't really like the feel or sound.
I have read at pokerchipreviews.com that the feel and sound of 10g Dice Composites is pretty good, but the looks are something to be desired. http://www.5stardeal.com/deals/10Exp...ctCode=10-1600 I am looking for a 500 chip set for around $100 or under. What should I get? I am leaning towards the 10g Dice Composites. |

Re: 11.5g Dice Chips OR 10g Dice Composites
From everythign I've heard the Nexgens are the best way to go. With the 25% offer 5star has goin right now you can get a set of 500 for 104.99. They look great, and people say they feel a lot better than the 11.5g chips.

Re: 11.5g Dice Chips OR 10g Dice Composites
I have the 10gram Faux Dice chips. They feel and sound absolutley great. They dont look great, but Im a sound/feel guy and really like them.
I putting labels on them soon, but Im not highly optimistic on the outcome. The labels are just bigger than the center portion of the chip and will need to be secured into the recessed part of the chip. For 6 cents a chip, you can afford to "sample" a few hundred. I ordered 600 for $36 plus shipping. My feeling is if I cant have the real thing (Chipco or better) I wont waste my money on the middle ground. But those NexGens are also a good alternative for a cheap chip. Stay away from the Dice 11.5 chips. You'll want to upgrade very quickly if you know what else is out there. |
