2-5 NL NYC Club
MP, full table, blinds 2-5 live $20 straddle. I have a fairly tight image.
People have been posting straddles like this all night, and often 4-6 see the flop. Folded to me (~400), I call with Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Button calls (~600), all else fold (3 handed). Flop comes A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Stradler checks, I bet $50. Button raises to $100, straddler folds. So far the raiser has folded to reraises in similar situations (2 for 2). I'm pretty sure he doesn't have AK or AQ. What the best play here? Thanks. |

Re: 2-5 NL NYC Club
go all in.
if you want to make it interesting, bury your head in your hands, sigh deeply like you're really in a tough spot, maybe even get up out of your chair and pace back and forth a couple times. but then go all in. p.s. if you get called show your cards. |

Re: 2-5 NL NYC Club
I agree. This is a perfect all in spot.

Re: 2-5 NL NYC Club
Against AKo you're 45/55. Against AJo you're 40/60. Against a set you're 33/67. You'll probably be able to make an intermediate ace fold. Go all-in.
