I don\'t bet sports but...
College Fball
this week I heard that Northwestern is a one and a half point fav. over Arizona State. I'm an ASU fan so maybe this clouds my judgement. I think the Devils will win by at least 2 touchdowns. NW lost the opener to TCU(TCU is okay, but not good by any stretch). ASU killed UTEP(UTEP is flat out bad). If I were old enough I'd go down to a casino and bet a couple bills on this one. |

Don't do it.
I know nothing about college football or the teams involved, but I am certain that if you believe one team will win by two touchdowns and the spread is actually less than two points, you should definitely not be betting on the game. -Michael |

Re: I don\'t bet sports but...
I'm a big Northwestern fan but I'm looking at ASU +2.5 this weekend. I don't think they'll win by 2 TD's, but I think they'll win by 7-10 points.

Re: I don\'t bet sports but...
I think you are right. If the number I believe is so far off that of which those who get paid to place such numbers, then I'm probably wrong. Not them. I still believe that ASU will win by 10-24 points, thus I'm not going to bet on the game(not that I could anyway, but I would have somebody do it for me).

Re: I don\'t bet sports but...
Is this different:
My team is favored by 13, and I think they will win by 28. Is this extreme prejudice? Had I bet it, I would have underestimated my line by 5. |
