Heads Up NLHE League

Me Daryn, Vagos, and Prevaricator played a few NLHE matches heads up yesterday. It was fun and interesting. There was a heads up limit hold'em league, and just a couple weeks ago I remember there were a bunch of people asking other people if they were interested in playing some heads up. I propose we create a NLHE heads up league. $20 heads up SNGs on PS.

sounds like fun. A few thoughts:

1. UB has heads-up SnGs as well. Just another option for those who don't yet have $ on stars.

2. I'm sure my BR could take the hit (and I'd plan on winning some as well) , but for a beginner, $20/game could get kinda spendy over the course of several games.

3. I'd be less interested in a SnG format than in a normal ring format. The escalating SnG blinds give it more of a tournament feel, and i'd be more interested in working on my h/u ring game.

Thus, one alternative would be for people to kick in a flat fee to be in a league, play matches at the penny tables, and the winners of the league would split up the prize pool.

Dunno how involved wou were looking to make this- I mean, I'd still be happy to pilfer your stars bankroll $20 at a time. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] But those are some things that occurred to me offhand.

Yeah, count me in. Just remember that a league involves WORK. Scheduling matches, guidelines, etc...be prepared.
