I think this is fine. Waiting and leading the turn didn't slow down UTG+1 and SB obviously got some sense and folded. I'd play it the same.

If UTG+1 is passive, I'd check-raise the turn.

check-raise means SB calls 1 then 1, instead of 2 cold, so maybe he'll call as well.

I'm missing something. I agree on the turn c/r, but why only if UTG+1 is passive?

I'm guessing he meant aggressive, he must not be thinking clearly from all that urine he's holding in his bladder.

I would definitely consider check raising the turn to trap the SB, unless you think UTG+1 is capable of making a free card raise there with a flush draw.

Meh. I was trying to get at the whole free-card raise thing without actually using words. A passive player who raises the flop has something and will bet the turn unless the flush card hits.

I should have said non-tricky, cause the trickier the player the more likely you are to whiff on a turn check-raise. I would 3-bet the flop against a tricky player.
