Affleck has made in the ballpark of $100M in just fees for his movies over the last three years. He's getting about $15M a film now. That's just fees, as a mega-star he also gets gross participation now. So, yeah, it is pretty much chump change and based on my experience w/ people who have made their money in entertainment or sports, I wouldn't be surprised if he treats it that way.
