Default Stars FPP satellite

Pokerstars 500 Frequent Player Points tournament.
What is it like, I just started and it seems like the level of play is VERY BAD. Can anybody with experience comfirm this to be true. Initially I thought it would be tough because there would be a lot of player who "play a lot". Any advice about this tourny that could be usefull I would really appreciate. Thanks

This is like a set up post, right? I just got knocked out 5th and am tilting a bit. Stupid to tilt over 500fpp but can't help it. Lot of time involved and hey, had a great shot at a free seat.

So why tilt? I'm tied for chip lead with 2 others with about 7000. UTG raises to 1200, UTG2 calls and I find AA. Seriously thought about smooth calling or making a baby raise but I know better, it always comes back to bite you. So I raise to 4600. The blinds fold and the original raiser folds. UTG2 calls without hesitation.

Flop: K,9, something. UTG2 leads out for 400, and I don't put him on anything. Probably should have worried about KK but i didn't. I re-raise all and he calls fast and turns over K9s.

So is the level of play bad? Yes, I would say so.

Sorry to hear that. I'm hanging tough with 8K chips. 21st place with 41 players left.
It seems like a lot of players just think "what the heck its only FPP's"
My AA held up(thankfully) aginst a healthy stack who pushed all in with 92offsuit.

I'm 11 with 36 remaining. Just got lucky when my KQ hit two pair on the river to beat AK.
