Multi Advice

At SNG's I am fairly profitable playing $5 i am less than 50% but $10-$30 I am a total of 72.9% ITM. Anyhow in just about all the multis i play in I get busted by a clown with a 7-9 off or similar hand after i pot size raise a strong hand. QQ-AA to include AKs. I have learned from SNG's that super tight play will lead you to the money but in these multis when I loosen up in the first hour I almost always do pretty decent getting about 6x the 1500 starters. But when I play Tight I get called by calling stations all over the table in the first hour only to have a nice hand busted. Is there any advice you can give to help sure up a little better finish in multi at PS I have had only 1 money finish in a multi that was last October when I was just learning the game at a $3+0. Any help would be appreciated and thank you in advance
