Default Origin of the 2 + 2 name

Does anyone know why the authors picked 2+2 for the name of their publishing company?

Possible answers:

1) They knew the answer to the equation

2) One Plus One was already taken

3) There were two initial founders plus a pregnant dog

4) It is a key phrase in an otherwise obscure satanic ritual

5) If you rearrange the letters in Two Plus Two Publishing using ancient sanscrit characters it also spells "We will make much moolah selling these books".

6) During their formal incorporation process their attorney asked them what name they wanted to incorporate and they said "Two Plus Two Publishing"

Funnily enough there's an article in TGC's Cool Hand magazine about S&M which I read this morning. It says the name came about due to the importance of maths in their careers.

Simple really, assuming its correct.
