Default Huge Overbets

I took a break from my usual SNGs to play some low limit on Party and clear the reload bonus. The following scenario happened a number of times over 500 hands.

MP1 Limps, I limp on the button, both blinds call/check. Four see a flop of 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Both blinds check MP bets $39.00 on a pot of $1.90

I just can't come up with any scenario where this is playing smart. Possibilities:
1) pure bluff
2) Great hand (AA or set) and hoping someone will be foolish enough to call
3) ??

Does anyone do this or understand in what circumstance it makes sense ??

thanks

As a crappy NL player let me be the first to suggest that the flop bet looks fine.

In all seriousness, I think the Pot/No-Limit forums will get you better responses.
