I think my first mistake was not re-raising PF here.... I could have easily laid this down to a re-reraise by him. Also, once he called the flop raise, should have been check-down time - I guess I never really gave him credit for the hand.

Would anyone else here have re-rasied PF? Or would you have been done with it on the flop? This was a newer player to the table, so I thought I might be able to play him off a better hand.... didn't realize I had 11 outs on the river....

When holding pocket 10s against a PF raiser, most people stick to a pretty simple principle -- spike a set on the flop or fold to any action (assuming you don't have any draws).

Why would you wan't to re-raise with TT and ruin your chance to bust your opponent? If he comes back over the top you have to fold unless you have a read to indicate that he'll go allin pf with with a low pp. Get to know the raising standards of your opponents and it will make hands like this easy. On the flop if he checks to you I'd bet and fold to c/r. If he bets into you unless you have a read that he raises 99 and lower or bets out with AK when he misses I'd probably fold. TT when it doesn't spike a set usally loses a big pot or wins small one.
