Default Poker in Germanic Countries

I am looking for casinos that offer poker games in the Germanic speaking countries Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Lichtenstein.

I will be making a trip to the region in June.

Cheers,

Derringer

Derringer,

check this site: http://www.pokerineurope.com/pokerclubs/index.php

About Austria: Donīt play in any casino from Casinos Austria. The last time I played there (european 7Stud championchip) the game was € 20-40, and if I recall it right they took €5 from every pot. Furthermore a tip of minimum €2 was expected (€2 was the smallest chip). The dealers were very bad and the game very slow. So if you happen to be in Austria I would recommend playing at the Concord or Poker World. For cashgames you might chose Concord, for tourneys Poker World might be the place to play (although I donīt play at PW anymore). Anyway, during June 1st and 10th the Austrian Masters takes place at the Concord, which is usually one of the best times to play there.

If you happen to be in one of these countries simply for poker reasons contact the casino first and ask for the rake. This is a serious issue in several casinos in Europe.

And donīt forget: All rooms will have lots of smokers

Best regards

Martin Aigner
