Hi all,

First I want to thank everyone for signing up and participating in this first event. There had been some administration bugs we needed to identify, and were able to do so with this inaugural event.

If we proceed with these, which I hope we do, next time it will be much simpler. All we will need is to issue you a password, nothing else. The events will be buy-ins that hopefully will have value added by Paradise. If we had tourney "crashers" it would not be a big deal, since it would just increase the prize fund. What format, and the amount of the buy-in is still TBD, but we will work closely with Paradise to present an event that will always have an overlay. It will also be easier to attract a larger crowd when the tournament is a buy-in format, since the payouts will rise exponentially. If you enjoyed this event, make sure to let Paradise know.

More on this subject in the future, let's get down to tomorrow's event.

Simon and myself would like to thank Paradise for their help and patience, as well as their generous donation of the prizes, cash and bounties.

Registration will remain open until the 120 spots are filled. We currently have 108 entered, but have a couple of cancellations still trickling in. Feel free to tell friends, or if you have not yet registered, just shoot me a PM with your Paradise username.

If it has filled by then, I will PM you back with a reply that you missed the cutoff, or that you are IN. Either way, you will hear back no problem.

I have made a couple of changes, but without further adieu, the teams are as follows:

The Deal: Knock me out before the halfway point with a hand that is not a group 1-8 hand and you win the bounty prize that i put on my head.

The Prize: As many of you know, Empire wants me to change my screen name. Apparently they think "lickmynutz" is inappropriate. So if you beat me with a non group 1-8 hand before half of all runners are eliminated you get to rename me.

I know its not a giant prize but it might be fun.
