Default Help me with a plan

I like to have things lined out in front of me, kinda like a yellow brick road to follow

Anyways, here is my situation and spec's

lets say $30.00 bankroll and start playing at .05/.10

playing 1 hour a night/5 nights a week and reading HEFAP in spare time.

Can you guys help me with out with a plan of attack? i.e at what point do I move up to .5/1 at PP?

and from then on.....

thanks

Sublime,

You will need to play more than one hour a night.

I would read every post in this forum and in the small stakes forum. Post answers go out on a limb.

i.e at what point do I move up to .5/1 at PP?

You could beat that game now if you had the bankroll. If you have $300 to commit, try it out.

I doubt it. Just by posting and visiting this board you will have an edge over most of your opponents.

Concentrate on table at a time. Play one table and follow every hand. Concentrate on mistakes you see your opponents make. You will know you have found the path to correct play when you can identify and recognize your opponents mistakes, as well as your own mistakes.

Really? honestly, i get to "loose" when I playing one table. I know that is not a good response to what you wrote, but its the truth. I get so anxious waiting for a good hand that I cant let go (ego).

At least you have recognized a leak. You will watch more than you play. Tighten up. Read The Zen of Poker. This might help you.

You will soon come to discover that you train more than you play. However the preparation will pay dividends the one time you need to rely on your training and your mental notes.

You will tighten up, or you will go bust.

I think that needs to be the first step on the road. Get patient enough to just watch cards go by. To be tight when you're bored and take money from the guy loosening up when he gets bored. I went through that same thing, and once I finally tightened down, and kept myself occupied (spent the time waiting trying to read the hands of players in the pot, taking notes, basically being in the game at every point) my wins went up
