What is my move here?
I haven't been at the table very long and have no reads. I always have a hard time making decisions when faced with a bet like this...
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (4 handed) UTG ($54.65) Button ($47) SB ($37.40) Hero ($41.55) Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG folds, Button calls $1, SB folds, Hero checks. Flop: ($2.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, Button checks. Turn: ($2.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets $3, Button raises to $15 What now?? |

Re: What is my move here?
I would think that because you were BB that the button placed you on a bad hand. Since you checked the flop he probably assumed that your were just trying to free play your hand, because it had basically been a free play up until then since you were the BB. I would think that he might have made two pair and he was trying to drive your potential draw out by betting big.
Do you have the results of the hand? |

Re: What is my move here?
My guess is that he has a two pair higher than a 5. If he had a full house, I don't see why he would raise so much when the pot is that tiny and the risk of you folding is high.
