Default all in heads up with aq

I was in a 5.00 try at stars got to be heads up I had about 2400 in chips the other player had about 11000 blinds were 200/400 with a 50 ante. I was on the bb he had raised 400 from the sb I went all in. I had aq he had kk. I got no help on the flop. I was just wondering if that was the right move to make there.

Hey cowboy,

Definitely the right move. In this situation, the big stack should be pushing you around at every possible opportunity, and you're not likely to see many hands better than this one. Since you're already guaranteed second place, you've gotta take a shot at getting some more chips. Just doesn't always turn out, you made the right play.
