Default Greater Seattle/Puget Sound area card rooms?

Hello all!

I was wondering if anyone has any info on cardrooms/casinos around Seattle? What kind of limits, tables and games, and also info on any tournaments is appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Muckleshoot (Auburn)

Holdem 4/8 10/20 20/40 (they killed the 15/30 to protect the 10/20 game)
Stud 1-4 spread
Stud/8 1-4-8-8 pretty much saturday night only
Omaha once in a great while

I leave it to others to throw up more.

Thanks slavic.

Anyone know if any cardrooms do $2-4 games? I'm kinda hoping for some low-limit stuff to get my feet wet in B&M plays as opposed to online.

Thanks again!

4/8 B&M is going to play at best about the same as 2/4 online. If you play 2/4 online, I'd have no hesitation (aside from bankroll) about playing 4/8 B&M, particularly if it is the lowest limit available at the place.

At first, I was worried about playing higher limits in a B&M than the 2/4 I play online and skipped my first opportunity. I've since played twice, once at 3/6 and once at 5/10 and the 3/6 was pretty much like 1/2 or 2/4 online while the 5/10 at a different place was even looser, more like $.50/1 online with playing and showing down all kinds of things. In each case it was the lowest limit offered. Now I wished I'd hit the casino the first time.

You should have at least 25 BB to start and 25 more in your pocket just in case to get into the game, but if you can afford that, I'd suggest at least going and taking a gander. If you can beat online 2/4, after watching a couple of orbits, you'll probably be itching to get into the game.

I can't think of anyplace with a $2/$4 game...the lowest I have heard about is the $3/$6 game at Kenmore Lanes (been quite a while since I was there, so it may have changed).

Diamond Lil's has (from my faulty memory)-

$4/$8 and $6/$12 Hold 'Em
$6/$12 Omaha and maybe $10/$20 Omaha

I don't know if there is a regular Stud game or not.

They also run touraments on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays IIRC

Tulalip Casino - About 40 minutes north of seattle.
9-10 tables
They spread:
Holdem: 4-8,10-20,15-30
7stud Hi/lo
omaha sometimes

The Hideway - About 15 minutes north of the city
4-5 tables
Texas holdem 4-8, and 10-20.

Just sit down and play don't be a chicken. Everyone was a beginner at some point in time. Now if this is a money issue...DON'T PLAY AT ALL.

What do you think of Tulalip's room? I was very unimpressed by the quality and professionalism of the dealers (especially) and the floor staff. Their Wednesday night tournament is a joke IMHO.

I heard an ad on TV or the radio about one of the Shoreline area mini-casinos opening a poker room. Does anyone remember which one? They specifically mentioned playing 'as seen on TV', which should make the fish come a'swimmin'!

Last time I went to Kenmore Lanes it was a $3/$6 with a kill. Beware- there are only a few tables, and it's really smoky up there.

I'd recommend either the Diamond Lil's in Renton or the Hideaway Cardroom at 145th & Aurora in Shoreline if you wanna stay close to town. They're both $4/$8s (smallest limits).

Otherwise, I prefer the Muckleshoot over Tulalip- it might be older and dirtier, but they run a great cardroom and have excellent dealers.

Good luck!

I think it's physically nice but don't really enjoy playing there. It's super tough to get into a game.

The muck is bigger and better run.

I haven't heard about that ad. But if you do figure it out please tell me.
