A hand I\'m not happy with
Your classic loose-passive Party 3/6 game.
I'm dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in MP. UTG limps, three players fold, guy to my right limps, I raise, all fold to blinds, both call, UTG calls, guy to my right calls. Flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Checked around to me, I bet, all call except guy on my right. Turn: A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB checks, BB bets his last dollar all-in, UTG raises to $6, I call, SB calls. River: Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB checks, UTG bets, I call, SB calls. I'm not happy with the way I played this hand - see results for why. |

Results
UTG turns over A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] for two pair, duh. He only gets the side pot however, for the all-in small blind turns over 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] for the backdoor flush. BB turns over A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], and there's no way he should have been in this pot.
I think I played preflop and flop correctly. I think I need to raise on the turn, because I might have the best hand at the moment (though UTG betting really suggests two pair) and I still have the nut flush draw. If I hit the flush, I get an extra bet, and the guy with two pair might check it down because I've showed so much strength. I think I have to lay it down on the river. It's really unlikely my Aces are good, especially with the club flush present. Anyway, your thoughts are appreciated. Will |

i don't need to see them. UTG's Ax just made two pair (or perhaps he was slowplaying a flopped two pair or set), and there is no reason for you to call on the river. |
