I like it.

Very little about hand strategy and things like that.

The book focuses more on logistical issues, record keeping, and money management than on hand play.

I think it's a very easy and enjoyable read.

better than other internet poker books, but not great.

deals solely with how to move from live play to online, no poker strategy. it does include some useful advice on avoiding dangerous investments at new and small sites, and avoiding giving off tells.

I liked it, but only as a fun read to help me remember what I have learned these last three years...I reread it when I want to recall the good old losing days of poker and to reispire myself. If you have never played online, it has some good stuff, but as noted, not much of it is directly poker related...it centers more around the activity of playing poker online and how to make sure you are set to play well (good frame or mind / good place / good time / how to deal with family / etc), if that makes any sense....

Default And conversely....

Hi,

As a player who learned poker, and now makes a living, on the internet, I found the regular 'Killer Poker' to be a great guide in the transition from online play to live.

That part of my game still needs a TON of work tho

I sat next to JV at an 8-16 table at the Bellagio a few weeks ago, and he's a really nice guy as well.

I also wonder how much of a trend situations like mine will be, i.e. player learning online w. no live experience...anyone think it will be big enough for 2+2 to address this phenomenom in a book?
