Default Tough decision on the turn : I NEED HELP!!!

I usually post in the SS Forum, but I took my first stab at 10/20 the other day and decided to post this one at both to see the difference of opinion. This was the only hand that really gave me difficulty.

I'm playing 10/20 live, but the table played more like my usual 4/8 game. There was a long list for the 4/8 and I'm in a donating mood so I take a seat at the red chip table for the first time. I buy in a rack of red and two hours I'm dead even. There are 2 good players at the table, and the rest are pretty tight, but very passive.

I'm dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in MP. Four folds to me and I open-raise. Two folds later, one of the good players 3-bets. The SB (tight/passive) cold-calls and I call. 3 to the flop for 7 SB's.

Flop comes: J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB checks, I bet, LP raises. SB folds and I call. Headsup to the turn for 5 BB's.

Turn comes: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img][J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]]

I check, LP bets. What's my best play here???

Check, call all the way. I'd be inclined to bet the river for value if a non-scare cards comes.
He very well could have AK and trying to steal the pot from you.

I don't like folding here.

I like MrGo advise. Check call this. He may have over pairs but make him prove it. If he nows yuor likely to call him down. He will be less inclined to bluff/push at yuo in future hands.

I feel the best thing for you to do would to have 3-bet the flop. If he four-bet, I call and fold on the turn. If he calls, bet the turn and fold to a raise. By calling and calling you gain no information about his hand, as he easily could have raised the flop with two overcards or even pocket 10s or 9s.

I don't like folding either, but AK is precisely the kind of hand that makes check-calling a bad play. He should have reraised the flop, and failing that should have bet the turn and folded to a raise. You can't give a hand with good outs a free card or a cheap semi-bluff.

I think from here check/call is fine.
I also prefer to go for a flop check/raise in such cases, because you gain more information and might be able to get an extra small bet or two from SB since he's more likely to call a single bet than 2 cold. If i get 3bet here i'd check and call from there.

I don't see much reason to bet the flop, and I sure don't see any reason to call on the turn. Betting the flop is good if that information is required to let you fold on the turn where you could not fold otherwise.

Given the description of the other players, it is extremely likely you are beat, and you have 5 to zero outs if this is the case, more likely 4 to zero.

Errr...
Why exactly would you call a 3 bet preflop if you're gonna fold top pair top kicker?
