Default vs patient players, best strategy?

ordinarily my strategy is very very very patient. i usually see 15%-18% of the flops. mostly from blinds.
then people start taking eachother out with mediaocre hands, and eventually i get a hand win a pot and stay alive.

once in awhile there are situations where everyone is playing very tight/patient. am i supposed to change mine here, or should i keep playing extra patient?

Default Re: vs patient players, best strategy?

I make two changes against a very tight table (my strategy is normally uber-tight). First, I look for more steal opportunities, both pre-flop and on the flop when the table shows weakness. Second, if Ive hit early and have a small chip lead, I will make minimum raises in late position with hands I would normally limp with, like smaller pairs and high suited connectors. A threatnening board now becomes a steal opporutnity
