Default PL call on the turn and river

Party pot limit, the small game. I have about $41 and the others in this hand have me well covered. It's 5 handed.

I have 33 UTG and limp. Button limps and sb calls. BB, who has raised about 50% of all pots since sitting down, raises the minimum. He typically raises the min in the blinds, or the max if UTG, or with no callers yet. I call it and so does the SB and button.

Flop 4 8 4 with two diamonds, I have the 3d. It gets checked around.

turn 4s. BB bets $2. I call and so does button.

River 6d. BB bets $2 and I call, so does button.

I wasn't happy about the overcall on the river, BTW.

Comments?

Results to follow.

Interestingly, I did win the pot. Yea!

the button, strangely, had made a flush on the river.

The BB had Q2o with no diamonds.

Gotta love that!

I really thought I HAD to be beat when the button overcalled the river. I played the way I did to take a stand against the button's over-aggressive play. Admittedly, had he bet more, or had overcards come on the turn and/or river, I would not have been calling.

Default Re: results

i love the people who draw to a flush with two pair or trips on the board, but not as much as i love people who bluff frequently but never bet enough to get you off a medicore hand.

i think you did okay given the opposition. i might have raised the turn to push the button off of overcards, especially if the bettor is the type to bet small to set up a big bet as a bluff on the river. however, this guy doesn't appear to be that kind of player, so i think you did fine.
