Default Two Plus Two Authors - Essential Books and Computer Software

Playing limit poker 20-40 with close to a large bet average per hour for 3 years at the TAJ I am taking a 9 day vacation in Vegas and am looking for a software package and essential reading material to occupy my time outside of the game. I have gone through multiple copies of your holdem books as well as the Theory of Poker. I also find selectively essential - Middle Limit Poker by Ciaffone and Briar.

What other poker books are essential reading material?

Also could you suggest, understanding you do not endorse, a selectively essential software program for limit holdem.

i think you could benefit from a read of Ciaffone's Improve Your Poker. not only does this contain a wealth of useful info, but it also makes a good read during the ride to Vegas to keep your game sharp.

as for software, i've never tried acespade, but i own TTH and i give it a thumbs-up, except that they don't have enough hellmuth-style players preprogrammed in.

i have more book reviews at my website below if you want to browse.
