Pacific Poker $10NL, .05/10 blinds
Hero has $9 and is UTG+1 SB has about $18 MP1 has about $10 Hero is dealt: A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG limps Hero raises to .50 MP1 calls SB calls Flop ($1.50): T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB checks Hero leads for .50 MP1 calls SB calls Turn ($3): 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB leads for .50 Hero pushes for $8 Thoughts? Flop: What do you normally do here? With the A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], I guess I was hoping to build the pot against someone with a K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] The way I figured, I would still be ahead with the Aces if it didn't hit, and get paid off huge if a club fell. Turn: The 7 now made this board especially dangerous with a straight even more likely. I pushed to protect. Thoughts? Full PSB on flop? Push on turn ok? |

I don't think your flop bet is nearly enough. I think a pot-sized bet would be better value. the stop n go by the SB weirds me out and makes me think he's strong. there is no need to push, because it seems like a WA/WB scenario. I would call and hope for a cheap showdown if you don't hit your club. the great thing about low limit players is that they don't know how to extract value with their strong hands.
