Default Loose Aggressive

In a small online tourney, SnG's, what kind of strategy do you recommend against a loose-aggressive player to your left. I know the general rule is to not have him act behind you, but obviously I can't move. A general strategy I've heard is to wait it out until you have good pockets then let him make a move on you. I would love to do that, but my cards are notoriously bad. No word of a lie, I didn't see a face card for the first 4 levels of an SnG tonight. Often, I've found that I just end up letting the blinds chip away at my stack until I'm short-stacked, or I'm relatively short-stacked in comparison to the other players at the table.
