My first hand at the Borgatta..I get AK off in the big blind

I finally made it to the Borgatta last night. I felt as if I visited another state, not just another casino. The Borgatta has the ambience of the Bellagio very big and very flashy.

The casino and poker room set up impressed me. It appeared to me that most of the floor people came from the Trop and the Taj. For anyone who hasnt visited the card room yet, take the time to admire it.

On to the hand.

I sit down to the big blind in a $6-$12 game. I check my option blind ( HUGE MISTAKE) I look down and see AK off suit. I had two limpers both who would have called.

Flop comes K high, no flush no straight. I bet both call.

Turn no help I bet both call.

River another brick I bet both call.

I turn over the winner without seeing what the other players had.
