Default turn and river play

Villian is an unknown. I expect that people will be tellling me to check the river. But should I be check calling or check folding? As I played it, do you have to fold to a raise?

Against a button steal range, PF is fine, IMO.

I disagree. I've never seen anyone regularly defend this against an unknown at 10/20, also there's the rake and slightly worse pot odds here.

Edit: And the fact people don't steal as much here.

FWIW, I think this is about the worst hand worth defending with, assuming a 2+2-er on the button (worst-case scenario).

PF:

936,630,288 games 5.348 secs 175,136,553 games/sec

Board:
Dead:

equity (%) win (%) / tie (%)

Hand 1: 61.6003 % [ 00.61 00.01 ] { AA-22, AKs-A2s, KQs-K2s, QJs-Q8s, JTs-J7s, T9s, 98s, 87s, 76s, 65s, AKo-A2o, KQo-K2o, QJo-Q8o, JTo-J9o }
Hand 2: 38.3997 % [ 00.38 00.01 ] { 5s4s }

Getting 3.5-1 i'd call PF with 54s. I guess our effective odds cut things up a bit. Bet-fold the river given the action thus far. That said, i may c/f the river if i'm feeling passive that day.

River is definitely a check-fold. A busted flush draw is about the only hand you beat, and that ain't callin'.
