Default Biggest heads up loss ever against an almost ideal opponent

I've been playing lots of heads up online and have had very good results.
Today was very different. I was playing 2-4 heads up with what seemed like an
almost ideal opponent.
Loose passive before the flop, tight, passive, predictable,
rarely raising anywhere in the hand unless he had a monster.
The crazy thing is I couldnt beat this guy!!
I tried adjusting by playing very aggressive. The problem was he was calling
my raises and flop bets
a large percentage of the time with weak hands
so the agressive game wasnt working.

I lost $200 4 seperate $50 buy ins to this guy in about 90 minutes!!
My
biggest heads up loss ever. I normally quit when Im down but
I
kept playing him because he seemed like the softest, weakest heads up opponet Ive ever
played in my life.
I was able to play break even heads up against him for stretches of time but would
always eventually lose.
I tried adjusting to this guy and stared playing more passive but still couldnt beat him. I would steal
win lots of small pots, never get much
action on my good hands.
After that
loss I went over to paradise and
Played some much
stronger aggressive competition short handed and heads up and booked a
nice win in about 10 minutes.
What the hell is goin on????

Without actually seeing the hands it sounds as if you were playing a calling station and betting his cards for him. In any case you've been running extremely well if your worst loss is 50 BB over 1 and a half hours. It's nothing to get stressed over.
