Default Let me get something straight about $50NL...

1) At 50NL, especially compared to 25NL, am I going to have to make a good number of bluffs and aggressive plays, or is it pretty much just sit and wait for that right moment? That's what I did at 25NL and it was pretty much just like pressing the easy button.

2) What site would you say has the best 50NL games?

I found little difference between 25 and 50NL. Others will disagree.

Flush bluffs work.
Bluffs against weak/tight players work.
Shortstacks will call you with nothing.
Many players will call you down with any pair, unless you get really aggressive and even then they may still do so.

As far as how to play, I suggest you play your winning style but also challenge yourself by trying different things, especially when you are up a few buy-ins

1) You can weak-tight nut-peddle at any stakes. You may pass up on many +EV situations, especially many slight ones, but that doesn't mean you won't be making a profit, even though it may be much smaller than it could be.

2) BoDoG for full ring. 6-Max games are pretty juicy everywhere.

Yeah but when 10-tabling it seems like it's fast paced.
I haven't been doing so grand at 50NL. I was up maybe $150, but I'm down about $150 today, so took a pretty big blow. If I lose another $50 I've decided to go back to $25, at least until Christmas, cuz I need some Christmas money to buy presents

I've actually fared much better at the $50's thus far (~3k hands) than the $25's. I've been playing 6max at Party, and there are a great deal of awful players there. Simple ABC poker, playing draws right, and keeping pot odds in mind should net you a nice profit.

Perhaps I should look into playing more 6-max. I've done some before at 25 and did okay, the variance was just a little bigger.
