is this standard?
should i be raising the flop here? or are we just calling it down?? it seem very passive the way im playing it but dont know what to do. thanks in advance. villian is 21/13.

I dunno, calling down might be ok..if you are ahead raising lets him off, if you call down you probably win the most/lose the least.

Well, if he has the flush he is letting you off cheap. I call this down because villain does not seem too excited about his hand. AQ is your only worry here.
Did you consider a pre-flop raise? You could have folded to a re-raise (saved you some money) and potentially gotten you to a much cheaper showdown. Whatever he shows, make a note on villain. His weak betting can be exploited once you get a better read on his probable holdings. |
