Re: How bad?
First hand looks right to me. You were probably ahead on the turn and he got lucky. You know he'll overplay TP next time. Buddylist him and enjoy the next time he misses his 2-outer.
My guess is on the 2nd hand that if you lost, either the A made 2pr or the villian was on a nut flush draw and got lucky on the river. Personally, I check-fold the river, and wait for a better chance to get the guy. |

Re: How bad?
first one - it seems you were beat when he popped u on the turn but with on 45 behind I think he easily has top pair here enough that you have to call. The only time I would probably think to fold is if it was one of a handful of regular pretty sollid players.
second one - with that flush draw out there I can't see playing this much differently. |

Re: How bad?
I think both are ok, although I do hate playing a big pot on that board in hand two. How do people feel about calling the flop and gettting it in with better equity against his range on a blank turn? It's something I've heard mentioned on Mid-High, but I am not sure where to apply it.
Raise more preflop in hand 1. |

Re: How bad?
Hand 1 I fold the turn against an unknown... do you really think he has AK here?
Hand 2-- not sure about the flop raise. A big one commits you, and the small raise doesn't look great either. |

Re: How bad?
Hand #2 looks fine.
Hand #1 raise more preflop, 4x+1per, and you are OOP so that would be $6 minimum. When you get to the turn, you have $64 left. Flop is dry. $20 is a bad bet (unless you had a read and you were inducing a raise). I'd bet $32 here, planning on getting the other $32 in on the river. Probably not that big of a deal, 32-32 vs 20-44, but it's not a bad idea to think in those terms as bet sizing is an important skill to have. |
