Default Turn cont bet

With this board, against unknown what do you prefer

-checking turn to induce/reevaluate on river (probably folding to 4, 5, 9, T, [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img])
-betting and folding to a raise as I did

PokerStars 3/6 Hold'em (5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls.

Flop: (4.33 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.16 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 6.16 BB

I would almost always bet the turn here against an unknown because I think you have the best hand a large majority of the time.

Im starting to check these on draw heavy boards against unknowns, and raising a river bet if I hit. I think its far superior on draw heavy boards in small pots.

For what reasons? It seems like a drawy board increases the chances that we're ahead and can value-bet.

Without a laggy read I'm bet/folding here.

I agree. This is a standard value bet against an unknown at small stakes.

I do this frequently against LAGs.
