Default Big draw in position, trying a new line

Normally, I'd raise the flop and try to get all in on the flop. Here, I just called the flop, hoping to get paid off when I hit, but I'm just not sure about this line.

Fold the turn, that bet is ridiculous...

Youd raise a strong made hand on the flop and especially on the turn. Doesnt make sense why you wouldnt on either street here, especially the flop.

This thinking is backwards. The reason to raise the flop is to hopefully get a free card but more to get paid when you hit. Many players are going to shut down shop when that 3rd club falls, and it will be hard to extract.

Raise the flop every time!

A regular raise would be to 9 or 10, so not likely to get it in on the flop anyway but I don't like the line you took at all. Do you really think he semi-bluffed full pot then min bet his made hand? I think more likely you let him off for cheap with a 10 or pair+FD.
