In retrospect, I hate this hand. No reads.

yeah we have a gutshot, but the board is 3457 and we're often drawing dead after this flop gets called in 3 places. at least that is what i was thinking. i just don't think our gutshot is worth much (it is also a split very often).

I think you can count your overcards for about 1.25 outs each. Fold the turn.

Yes bet the river. You are willing to call a bet on the river, so I think it's better to just bet it out. UTG could have just bet because you showed weakness on the turn and felt that his pair was good.

Why are you calling the turn? Didn't notice the 2 wasn't an out?

I think I'd check the flop. I'd definitely check a 456 flop, we have a gutshot here but it's 1 card to the ignorant end, and even if noone has a 6 we'll often split as they love to play aces, so the gutshot doesn't add much value to our draw. We don't have the equity thing on the flop, and we're not clearing anything up by betting, no free card.

Edit: Damn that got alot of replies fast! When I started replying there were no replies.. A couple even posted twice in that period of time. Either I'm very slow or this new forum's got a nice amount of traffic, or it's just coincedence.....

Anyway, I guess the 2 is an out sometimes on the turn, but not enough to call IMO.
