looks fine to me...not every day obviously, but thats what backdoor flush draws are for right?

I'd feel better about if you had more than 70 hands on him as this could easily be just a short run of unshowdownable hands.

That said maybe he is just itching for anything remotely showdownable and is getting ready to call down with anything.

More likely though he will once again decide he is up against a monster and fold.

I did feel kinda good about the hand.. That being said, if he would have called showing a pair or whatever, I would obviously thought I made a fishy play.. funny how the mind works...

i dont like it, and i dont like that youve added the result of the hand either, as its likely to alter peoples opinions of the hand.

im not even sure i like the flop call.

wtsd factors are pretty meaningless over 70 hands.

Flop peel is good, he would bet 67 of spades with those stats. I don't think the turn checkraise or river bet is good against this opponents given his stats. You don't push him off any hands that is ahead of you I think. I would have called turn and also think you are good often enough to call the river UI. With so aggressive opponents it is more EV to not have the initiative than to have it when you have a marginal hand.

not trying to be a nit, but i just dont see the value in comments like this. it just doesnt make much sense to say a hand as nonstandard as this "looks fine".

Stats don't mean much to me 'cause I bonus whore and don't have a large database from any one site (some sites don't even allow you to import), but if this guy was acting up I'd 3-bet preflop, bet the flop....(he's still in)...(oh good a diamond), bet the turn...(damn i have the worse luck)check fold the river.

Fold flop. check call turn. check fold the river.

he connects too often with this flop.
WTSD stats need a couple hundred hands to get a rough picture.

I think what he's saying is the situation doesn't come up often, so its not something you can consciously work into your game.
