PLO8 tournament

I've logged quite a number of hands of limit O/8 ring games. It's my main game these days. However, a bunch of my friends are running a prive PLO8 tournament on PokerRoom that I'd like to play.
I've never played PL before and I've never played O/8 in a tournament situation.
What are the key differences between the two? I know that one player is well-versed in PLO8, but otherwise I'll probably be the one with the most logged O/8 hands in general.
Probably looking at one table, maybe two tables.
Any tips?

Jam AA2 and AA3. Don't play just for nut low or 2nd nut low draw, make sure you have some sort of high hand or draw to high hand.
