River bet, too much?
6 Handed Max, 6 players. 25 Max NL:
SB: 32.15 BB: 8.35 Hero: 35.50 UTG+1: 24.35 CO: 9.05 BTN: 40.45 Pre-flop: Hero gets K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and raises to $1. Everyone folds around to Villian (SB) who calls. BB folds. Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Villian bets .25, Hero raises to 2, villian calls Turn: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villian bets .25, Hero raises to 6, Villian calls. River: Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villian bets .25, Hero raises to 9, villian folds. I had been sitting for a while and realized the players were mostly calling stations. Two of my hands had been cracked on the river so I seemed like I was on tilt (maybe I was to some extent?). I know that my raise UTG isnt optimal but I felt like I had been making accurate reads and getting away from hands where I was dead. Normally, after he cold called my $6 re-raise I would have gotten nervous. I had assumed he was on the flush draw but got confused after he called my turn bet. Was my river bet (half the pot) too much to keep him in? |

Re: River bet, too much?
no i think your river bet was fine - he definitely was on a flush draw there.
