Default DAMN JJ...

Not hand specific to anything I have won/lost recently...

just wondering how much heat you will take and/or apply with JJ, preflop, MTT tourny, very Top Heavy, Mid way through a tourny, average to above chip stack, vs. similar size stacks.

Worth being sent home making a stand with JJ?

It obviously depends. If vs a lag, then yes.

As bad as a rep JJ has, it's still dominates over the majority of cr*p that most online players like to raise with. I'm always surprised to see people spewing chips with their small/medium pockets unimproved on the flop.

I don't have a math answer or rule of thumb. Playing any hand can be dependent on reads and texture of the table. You'll sometimes fold JJ on the button if there's been heavy action in front of you. Or you may want to push JJ from the SB/BB if limped to you or if CO.Button is stealing.
