Who wants to be a part of a scam with me?
This is quite possibly the best idea I've ever had at 2 in the morning after being awake for 48 hours straight.
We write a poker strategy book for online poker, that has the worst strategies possible. Then we publish it with iUniverse and promote the hell out of it on the interweb. We get to [censored] with idiots who are stupid enough to buy a poker book from a print-on-demand publisher, and can flood the tables with morons playing poorly. We'll make money from the book and from playing AND from their playing when we put our affilate codes in the book to get them to sign up. Who's IN??????? |

Not a bad idea, too bad Hellmuth already has the market cornered.

Re: Who wants to be a part of a scam with me?
One of the first poker books that came out in the 1970's by Amarillo Slim was just about like that. He later admitted that much of the advice in his book was BS. I wonder when Phill Hellmuth will admit that his book is complete BS as well.

Re: Who wants to be a part of a scam with me?
Hopefully soon because having to guess makes it more difficult to win (faster).
I was at a crazy 15-30 Limit HE at Hollywood Park (pre Phil Hellmuth book) and the players were capping multiway like they had to or they would die. This made it difficult for me. I like opponents who check when they have nothing, and bet/raise out of the blue when they have something. I'm generally against teaching players, but since I knew a few of them by sight I scolded them and told them they were throwing their money away (so I could benefit). I mean, I really embarrassed them. They stopped playing crazy, became predictable, and I won. So there! Lol. |
