turning stone 1/2 AA hand
Hero is button w/ A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I have ~160 and cover villain
4 or 5 limpers, I make it 12 to go. BB calls and 2 MP's call. 4 see a flop of: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] BB checks, MP1 bets $20, MP2 folds, Hero raises All-in. Villain had like 50-60 more. I know i played this wrong, as i did with the few decent hands i got. i seemed to be pushing kids out of the pot when i wanted a call. Should i call here. Raise to 40 or 45? What do you guys do? As an aside, for those of you that play Turning Stone, what do you tihnk of the 1/2 100 max game? I really disliked it as i felt u had to get lucky early and double up to be able to play poker, especially when there are 3 people at the table with 500+. Hows the 200 max game there? |

Re: turning stone 1/2 AA hand
Looks perfect. I like about a 7-8xBB preflop raise here, given it's a live 1-2 game... which it looks like you did.
You can make an argument for "slowplaying" this hand if you think he can get away. |
