Don't post results, it changes peoples responses.

I think the flop free card play is fine and then you have to call the bet back to you. The turn call is fine. I would not cap the river unless SB is a maniac here.

Hi Prag nice post.

Pre flop: I hate open limping from a middle position unless i am certain i am getting more limpers behind me. Being suited i probably raise here if it wasn't suited i would dump it.

Flop: Reads help but usually raises from the small blind mean business so if the big blind had folded i would have called instead of raised. Since the big blind did call we have an equity edge and i would have raised and capped had the big blind hung around but since he folded to the sb's 3-bet calling the 3-bet is good.

Turn: perfect.

River: perfect.

Results: Don't post them they don't matter and they skew replies to your thread.

assuming he's not a maniac, i'd just call the river 3bet.

put him on a hand. after that river 3bet, a full house is the only thing that makes sense.

Q9, Q8, 89 -- i dont see SB raising these PF
Q9, Q8 -- i dont see SB 3betting these on the flop

I think the flop free card play...

It's also a pretty standard raise for value with a player trapped.

I usually cap flop in an attempt for a freecard on the turn, and on the river I call the 3-bet instead of capping.
Other than that, nice hand.

JTs in MP1 is borderline limp/raise for me. If it's MP2 I definetely raise it, if it's UTG+2 I limp/fold it depending on the table.

fold preflop, if the players behind you are very loose, and passive a limp is fine .. I wait a couple more positions before I openraise JTs

flop and turn are fine, I often just call the flop though

river depends on the villian, the thing you should strive for is getting reads on the other players, basically the general playing style they have, as in loose or tight, aggressive or passive, and then look for specific things in their play that can make your decison making better .. somethings I look for are

will they bet/raise draws
do they like to bluff, especially scare cards
do they like to make fancy plays with big hands

and much more, its more of a science that takes time to get used to how various player types play various situations
