Default adjusting my play in tourneys and cash games

After about 3 years of playing poker, ive found that i am a decent cash game player, but a better tourney player. I really want to improve my cash game skills because i think thats where the real money is and I enjoy playing them better than tourneys. so i have a few questions.

1) why am i better at tourneys than cash games?(in general why are some ppl better at one than the other)
2) what are the major differences between the two?
3) what can i do to improve my cash game skills?(im probly gonna start at the 25nls and .5/1 games on party.)
4) in tourneys i can play a lag style more than cash games. is that because theres more FE in tourneys because of the survival aspect of the game?
5)how can i develop a good LAG style for cash games.will a lag style work at these low limits? if not i can play strait up ABC.

any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
