Default Getting Pushed Around?

Just sat - no reads, no stats.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

BB ($21.60)
UTG ($22.30)
MP ($38.30)
Hero ($24.80)
SB ($27.90)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
2 folds, Hero raises to $2, 1 fold, BB calls $1.75.

Flop: ($4.10) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4, BB raises to $15, Hero ????.

Fold? Call with intent to raise on the turn? Go over the top?

Feels like I'm up against an overpair or a flopped set - thoughts?

I don't see a reason to call this.

Fold. At best, you are only a little behind. Your stack isnt big enough to call and then fold the turn. What could he be pushing you around with? TT? Yeah. 88, 77, AKd - all of these has you in trouble. At the moment, you basically have ace high. Willing to risk an entire buyin on that?

No, not at all. I folded rather quickly and didn't feel bad about it.

Click fold, next hand.

If you're doing a lot of folding to one person and it feels like you're getting pushed around, you might be...but you should consider that villain could just be getting a rush of cards. Generally it's the latter more than the former.

hmm.. I probably should've rephrased my thread title - I guess I can't be getting pushed around if I had just sat and have only seen a few hands.

Seems like I was either beat or outplayed. Live and learn.

even if he's semi bluffing a flush draw, he's still ahead of your ace high...

This is a pretty trivial hand man... you played it fine the whole way. Just be happy you didn't have AA and had to mull over a call ;-)

Edit:

P.S. I just wanted to comment on this:

Save these moves for when you have a good read on the opposition and/or you feel they have a read on you (ie they pay attention that you aren't a maniac). Don't try to pull this stuff willy nilly, especially at SSNL.

oh I know not to get all crazy with the FPS especially at level I'm playing at. I just like to try and see all the angles of things and get all the opinions.

I know this is a pretty cut and dry fold here. I guess I was just itching to have a hand looked at by everyone.
