Default Tournament Question

Anyone get frustrated by playing 3+ hours in a tournament only to bust out a few short of the money? It seems like you have wasted a ton of time. I am in the party freeroll now and I know I will make it fairly deep into the tournament. Do I have a problem closing the deal? Any advice?

What good can you take from such a situation?

Once you really get into MTTs, the "money bubble" shouldn't matter very much unless you're at the WSOP and 12K is significant money to you. If you bust out of a Stars $10R on the bubble only to miss out on like 50 bucks, so what? Remember, the best money is at the final table. Get there. I'd rather bubble every time and get one big MTT win a year rather than making the money each time and not getting very far.

It sucks when you bustout, that's just how it is. Take me, I just busted out around 500th when someone calls my all in with AQ and I have AK...guess what flops out? Can't think of a much bigger waste of time to have it end more painfully. Was above average the whole tournament, and the caller had a few more chips than me...just wonder what he was thinking. See, I'm bitter and I lose all the time. I'll be over it in 5 minutes.
