Early shot of trippling up or fold?
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx
MP2 (t1480) MP3 (t1500) CO (t1480) Button (t1160) SB (t2140) BB (t1500) UTG (t1540) Hero (t1500) MP1 (t1180) No reads, third hand in the 3+0,30 tournament Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 1 fold, Hero calls t20, 1 fold, MP2 raises to t80, 4 folds, BB calls t60, Hero calls t60. Flop: (t250) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) BB bets t120, Hero raises to t360, MP2 raises to t1040, BB raises to t1420, Hero calls t1060 (All-In). Before you start telling me how much I should fold AJs here preflop I just want to say that I had entirely in my mind to only play this one postflop if it hit me good as in flush draw, straight draw and two pair. If the A came it would be a unique situation that I dont know yet what I would do since I am putting the raiser here on JJ+ AQ+. So now that the board brings me this im thinking, ok this is just the third hand of the tournament so why not take this shot at trippling up early on. After the flop i'm putting myself at the worst to a 2-1 underdog here and im getting almost 3:1 here. Thoughts? |

Yes, I'd call everytime with TPTK plus nut flush draw.
