Check my play
New to 2+2... Still reading SSHE
Live game so I have to type it in (I think?) Game is 2-4 Limit at local casino... Really loose play by most players. Hero in 4th from button. With A(Club) and Q(Club). One call from 2nd possition. I raise making it 8 to go. One call (really loose player) from about 2 infront of button. Re-raised by limper. I call and so do last player. Flop comes A(Spade) 6(Spade) Q(Spade) Check to me I bet. Both call Turn 10(Spade) Everyone Checks River K(Spade) Guy in front of me raises and I fold... Guy behind calls and both play board.... Should I have made this call??? Thanks |

Re: Check my play
Yeah, I would have made the call. Neither one was playing like they held a spade in their hand. I would expect a turn raise by either if they had at least one spade in their hand.

Re: Check my play
The turn checked through though so they may have missed a c/r but most passives would bet at it if they had a decent flush on the turn rather than c/r'ing. The river call for me would depend on the players in particular, would the better take a stab at a 5BB pot? Since you checked the turn alot would but then you have one guy already overcalling which necessarily mean anything. So you are getting 7:1 to try for a 3 way chop where the 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img],8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img],9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], and J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] all beat you. If you think you are good 1 in 2.33 times make the call.
