I'm having trouble getting reads here too. Try reposting and selecting the 2+2 option on the convertor.

Re: did i F up?
Seriously though, I guess we shouldn't be picking on people with just one post in a beginner-oriented forum. I tried to help the OP convert the hand but for some reason I can't make it work on any site. Here's the hand-converted, uh, hand:
$0.50/$1.00 Hero is CO with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, Hero calls, Button calls, SB calls, BB checks. Flop comes 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB bets, BB calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP2 calls, Hero raises, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls, MP2 calls. Turn comes Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP2 bets, Hero raises, Button folds, SB folds, BB folds, UTG folds, MP2 calls River comes J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. MP2 bets, Hero calls. |

Re: did i F up?
As for the actual hand:
I think the turn raise might be a little aggressive. It's possible MP is just donkbetting into you with a lower flush draw, but IMO he'd be much more likely to c/r you given his relative position. If he has a weaker hand than TP, this would be a pretty ballsy bluff/semibluff into a field of this size. A raise is pretty good for protection in case we are best, but we can't fold to a 3-bet with our FD. I'd probably just call here since I'm likely drawing, and any draw that I hit will likely put me ahead of the entire field anyways. |

Re: did i F up?
I like the hand preflop, and flop.
On the turn, I think reraising behind MP2 makes everyone call a double bet and most of the time this will weed out most players. If you are playing to make more money when your flush comes, call the bet on the turn and hope a couple other players come along. Then if you hit the flush on the river you are + 2 or 3 BB. If you were trying to see if your 9s were good and wanted to thin the field, then reraising did that. I would just call the river. |

Re: did i F up?
Turn raise is bad. You're reasonably likely not to have the best hand. Given that you raised the turn, fold the river.

Re: did i F up?
grunchin'
pre-flop: buy the button, raise it up! flop: good raise. protect the top pair in that big pot turn: you just have to call here. You are on a flush draw here and want to keep the other players in. river: based on the turn action (stop&go) I don't think you can call this. Lots of hands beat you here (higher pair, any two pair, etc). A read on MP2 might change this. |
