Matusow\'s Move - Was It Legit?
I was half-watching last night's episode so I don't recall the exact details.
There was a hand where a young player flopped a boat, bet out and after some antics and hesitation, Matusow called. Both players checked on the turn and young player bet about 100 or 200K on the river Mouth with no chance of winning tried to make a read, grabbed a stack of chips, made a swift forward motion, but without putting it down and then pulled it back. Dynasty mentioned in another thread that there was hand where Williamson was shuffling chips, made some sort of forward motion that some thought she acted. I did not see this one so I don't know how it compares with Matusow's action. I am not familiar with the details of WSOP rules but shouldn't Matusow's act at that time be considered a call? Anyway, glad that the SOB called anyway. |

I'd be very surprised if it was. I'm assuming the player would've called the floor over afterwards.

Re: Matusow\'s Move - Was It Legit?
Let me quote myself from the Matasow thread:
[ QUOTE ] He's a douche. And what about his angle shooting with fake moving of his chips into the middle of the table and then pulling them out. Douche. [/ QUOTE ] That's how I feel, he's a douche. Just wish he'd called for all his chips and then cried afterward. And when he gave the kiss-kiss move on the redhead guy who had cried earlier I would've said "You learn that in prison?". |

There's already a thread about this on the first page.
