Default any short handed play advice?

Hey everyone

I find myself playing short handed lots and i realize that there is a major difference in playing shorthanded (3-4) vs a full ring. Probably an obvious thing for most of u guys out there but I am no pro and I am not trying to be. Except I do want to improve my game cause losing is not fun. What are some of the main ideas to playing shorthanded, what kind of cards should i play? I find myself folding alot and i think part of the reason is that i cant figure out what hands to play.
Thanks. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

In the words of Nate Tha Great:
"Shoot from the HIP.
High Cards.
Initiative.
Position."

If you learn nothing else, learn that.

Number two should be clicking this link.

Number three, learn to search.
